53rd Avenue Park West

This project for the City of Hillsboro includes the creation of a new 11-acre park on the west side of 53^rd Avenue, which is designed and built for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Scope includes natural play features, a sand and water play area, specialized runnel paving, naturalistic plantings, flexible lawns, pathways and trails, a fitness area, a place space for pop-up activities, a games area, shade structures, picnic pavilion, restrooms, parking and open spaces filled with climate-adapting landscaping and native restoration plants.

The star or the park is a custom play structure designed and fabricated by Earthscape Play Structures, which follows the City’s “Woods Gone Wild” theme.
