141st Ave. Reservoir Retrofit & Pump Station
Ward-Henshaw was awarded this project through the CM/GC - RFP process. The project involved demolition/removal of the existing in-ground pump station, vault and surplus piping. New construction provided the Owner with a 4000GPM CMU booster pump station requiring the installation of 5 vertical turbine pumps, associated pump cans, valves and piping. Deep yard piping entailed extensive sheeting/shoring. The project was centered in a residential area in which critical coordination and proactive communication with nearby residents was crucial to the success of the project. Additionally, improvements to the existing 2.5MG concrete reservoir were involved.
